Wall Snow Angel Exercise

Do you spend too much time looking down at your phone? Are your shoulders rounded forward? Do you suffer pain in your neck or shoulders? Increase mobility, improve posture and reduce pain with this exercise!

1. Stand with your back and head against the wall. Feet apart and soft knees.
2. Engage your core – there should be a small space between your back and the wall to maintain a “neutral” spine.
3. Reach your arms above your head with the back of your hands touching the wall and bent elbows.
4. Maintaining the shape of your arms, slowly lower them down towards shoulder height. Try to keep your head, shoulders, arms and glutes connected to the wall.
5. 25 repetitions daily!

Sarah Hardy

From a young age, Sarah Hardy has been immersed in the world of dance, particularly classical ballet. She lives and breathes ballet, though perhaps not in the way most people might expect. While the magic of watching ballet and the thrill of performing have always captivated her, Sarah’s true passion lies in teaching. After her very first ballet lesson, she told her mother she wanted to become a ballet teacher—and that dream never wavered.

What Sarah loves most about teaching ballet is the problem-solving aspect it entails. Observing closely and training herself to look beyond the obvious, she focuses on identifying what’s not working and how to address it. Most often, this comes down to muscles and biomechanics. Over the years, Sarah has developed exercises designed to help dancers “feel” and “activate” the right muscles to enhance their movement. For her, muscles simply make sense.

Sarah has worked with dancers of all levels, from amateur to professional, and finds immense satisfaction in their progress. Whether it’s the joy on a dancer’s face when they finally understand a technique or the pride they feel seeing visible improvements in the mirror, those moments fuel her dedication to teaching.
