One of PLEB’s favourite designers,
Blue Nude, introduces its newest sustainable fashion collection,
Raha, a winter capsule collection inspired by the comfort, craftsmanship, and culture of
Morocco. This collection takes an unconventional approach to the autumn/winter wardrobe by exploring how cosiness can be expressed in a warm climate. It is a fresh perspective that challenges traditional seasonal design, merging a global sensibility with Blue Nude’s signature
Made in London ethos.
Creative Director Katarina Protsack found inspiration during her travels in Morocco, where she observed the unique ways intimacy and comfort manifest in architecture and traditional craft. Moments of serenity embedded in Moroccan life, are woven throughout the collection, which celebrates the beauty of slowing down to appreciate everyday peace. The collection’s name, Raha, loosely translates to “everyday peace” in Arabic, capturing this essence. It reflects the brand’s dedication to fostering a calm and serene lifestyle, particularly for those navigating the hustle of urban environments.
At the heart of
Raha is Blue Nude’s ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible design. This season, the brand partnered with London-based visual and textile artist
Chisara Vidale to create a series of striking, limited-edition accessories, that will be available for sale in December 2024. The collaboration will bring to life a unique collection of upcycled
vintage handbags reimagined as modern leather-and-wool “comfort creatures.” These one-of-a-kind pieces, inspired by the intricate
Berber wool artistry of the
Atlas Mountains, serve as a testament to the brand’s dedication to sustainability and circular fashion.
