Paris—the city of art, love, the macabre, and fashion—made a fitting backdrop for Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2025 Collection debut.
Nicolas Ghesquière played with precision, blending geometric cuts with futuristic silhouettes, crafting wearable art that demands a moment of stillness—an instant to simply look.
Wide shoulders, sharp-edged puffed sleeves, and cinched waists collided with patterned themes that could have walked straight out of a Parisian club in the ’90s—minus the glitter and metallic overload.
You could just as easily picture yourself in a synth club in Berlin, head bopping, feet shuffling, as in a ménage à trois of sensation in a French countryside estate—sipping drinks that are bold and full-bodied, feasting on dark cherries and stolen cheese, surrounded by art, history, and books. Maybe that’s just me. Maybe that’s what this collection feels like.
At PLEB, we usually champion fashion brands making strides in sustainability. But in this case, we made an exception.
In saying that, Louis Vuitton has stated that “90% of the materials used in our events will be repurposed or recycled afterwards / 100% by 2025” as part of their circular creativity efforts. Bravo.
